Last Minute Halloween Outfit Ideas

If you looking for a last minute easy to put together Halloween costume, you are in the right place! While I am organised a bit better now being a mother and often make own costumes, back in the day I was quite a Pro at putting together costumes at the last minute! I kid you not.

So here are some characters you might want to dress up as if you have been invited to a Halloween party but forgot to pick up a costume. This outfit would work for most ladies, most of the time. Ready? My go-to Halloween and dress-up party character is Holly Golightly.

Who has not seen Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) and the iconic character who is instantly recognisable for her style and beauty? So if you can rock it, it can be a great and effortless choice.

What you will need

Black Dress - this one is fairly easy to find, if not borrow one from your sister, friend, mother.

Long Satin Gloves - you might have one lying around from previous parties. In any case, it is an essential accessory in any self-respected female's wardrobe.

Tiara - you might have to borrow this one from your daughter/niece/friend's daughter

Pearl Necklace and Earrings - I said it before and I am saying it again...An essential jewellery piece and sooo hot for this season and 2019. Check out those Gatsy style earrings from our winter collection available in store now.

Black Shoes - any dark occasion shoes should do the trick.

Mask (optional) - it is a Halloween after all! So add some mystery with a black or white mask.

If you are a blonde like me right now, another great look to try is Marilyn Monroe! Just pick one of her iconic looks like a white dress or a pink one, add sparkles and glitter and you are set to be the queen of the night!

Go out in confidence, celebrate and there is no need to be scary!

Happy Halloween!

Until next time,

Olga
