Your necklace will be crafted using the ancient “lost-wax-casting”
process. Other nameplates are laser cut from thin sheets of silver,
but this means they’re very lightweight. We want your necklace to
be wonderfully luxurious..

How do we do it?
The Wax Tree
We start by creating a wax model of your nameplate. Using a wax "sprue," we attach this model to a wax tree containing many other wax models.
The Plaster Mold
The wax tree is placed in a special flask, and a carefully mixed plaster is poured over it. Once set, the flask is placed in a kiln for several hours to melt away the wax, leaving behind a detailed plaster mold of the original wax tree.
The 925 Sterling Silver
With the plaster mold complete, we pour in molten 925 sterling silver, forming a silver replica of the wax tree. After cooling, we remove the plaster, carefully cut the sprue, and separate your nameplate from the tree.
Polishing
We carefully polish your nameplate to ensure a flawless, mirror-like finish. All edges are smoothed, and the silver shines to perfection.
Plating
Next, we plate your nameplate with a rhodium coating to prevent tarnishing or, if you prefer, with 18ct gold for a beautiful yellow gold look.
Finishing
Finally, we attach your nameplate to your chosen chain, ensuring the jump rings are securely soldered closed so your nameplate will never fall off.
